This new school year, Anihan has granted full-tuition scholarships to seventy-three (73) new female high school graduates, opening up for them the opportunity for a career in the hotel and restaurant industry.
With the two-year scholarship grant from Anihan, these young women will be able to gain three (3) National Certificates, namely, Commercial Cooking, Food & Beverage Services, and Baking/Pastry Production. After graduation, they will be highly employable skilled workers with competencies as hot/cold kitchen cooks, pastry cooks or bakers, commis (1-3), food attendants, etc.
To date, there are a total of 691 Anihan graduates. They are employed in prestigious establishments such as The Palms Country Club, Tagaytay Highlands, Timberland Nature and Sports Club, Vivere Suites, Conti's Pastry Shop and Restaurant, Cravings Bakeshop and Restaurant, Red Ribbon Bakeshop, Good Earth Tea Room, Jollibee, etc.
Anihan is able to continue helping a total of 100-120 with an educational scholarship every year through the sales of its Anihan Goodies (TM), as well as donations from private individuals and companies.
