Anihan Graduate: Chef de Partie of The Black Pig

Anihan Technical School graduate, Ma. Reenalyn Babasa, works as Chef de Partie in The Black Pig, located in Alabang.


Anihan graduate, Reenalyn or Reena, who dreamed to be a chef when she was in high school, is now a Chef de Partie in The Black Pig Charcuterie, Bar & Restaurant.

Reena is preparing fresh pasta noodles.


While studying in Anihan, Reena did her on-the-job-training in The Black Pig. She was able to put her skills and talents in the different departments of the restaurant. Before finishing her training days, she was already told that she would be absorbed for employment after her graduation. She was very happy because she could already see that she will be spending her life doing what she loves most… cooking. Reena is the youngest among her siblings and her family is happy and proud for her because of her achievement at still a young age. in life and she is also helping to the expenses of her family.

Reena is from Calamba, Laguna City. Her father is a project coordinator while her mother is an overseas Filipino worker. Reena chose to study in Anihan because she loves to cook and bake. Anihan ("harvest") helped Reena to harvest her dreams.
