Anihan Graduate: Sous Chef at The Palms Country Club


Anihan 2006 graduate, Sherry May Benjamin, is a sous chef heading the hot kitchen department of the The Continental restaurant at The Palms Country Club. Sherry May is one of the 35 Anihan graduates working at The Palms. Each department in the kitchen is headed by an Anihan graduate. There are now more than 1,000 Anihan scholars who have graduated and are now helping their families.

"As soon as I graduated from Anihan, I immediately landed a job (at The Palms) and I am thankful for the opportunity that Anihan gave me. I helped two of my siblings finish school and now they have their own jobs. I am also able to build our own house."

"Anihan taught me to be grateful, humble, and patient. I am able to apply the values I learned that I know helped in getting me opportunities to work. I also learned to help others when they are in need, and most especially to have a strong faith in God."
